Solubility
Cobalt carbonate is insoluble in water and ammonia; but however soluble in acids.
Uses
Cobalt carbonate is a pinkish-purple powder used as an intermediate in the hydrometallurgical purification of cobalt from its ores. Cobalt carbonate is used as a microelement in the feed Industry, as raw material in the production of pigments, in particular to get different shades of blue, and it is used in catalysts too.
Classification
